Discover Westlake Prep!
Westlake Preparatory Academy (WPA) is a fully accredited private Christian school that serves over 200 students in Pre-K 3 through Grade 8 in the Katy, Richmond, Fulshear, and Fort Bend areas.
We offer a strong academic program, challenging athletic competition, and opportunities to minister to others through volunteer service. It is this blend which makes WPA unique. We welcome and affirm the role and responsibility of parents as partners in the education process, and we welcome Christian parents who seek to put Christ at the center of their lives and desire their children to do the same.
Education for Today, Tomorrow, and Eternity
At Westlake, I’ve been able to be my true self and not worry about having to be like others.
Ryan S., Westlake Prep Student
This school, this family, this fellowship, it’s enough. It’s perfect. There’s nothing that can be as good as Westlake, right? But God has a path for all of us. We just have to trust him that everything will be alright. That our next stage in life will be as good as Westlake.
Pidcha R., Westlake Prep Student
Westlake has provided our children with a well-rounded and challenging academic environment, while also nurturing a feeling of self-worth. The class sizes provide the opportunity for true individual attention to all children, which allows them to continually build on their individual skills as they are mastered. It is a school where our children have flourished academically, socially, and spiritually; and we are confident that Westlake will continue to prepare them for a successful future.
Scott and Aly B., Westlake Prep Parents
The Christian community at Westlake makes this such a unique and wonderful school. Teachers don’t just teach about God’s love, they model it in the ways they interact with their students. Each child is celebrated as God’s unique creation. Westlake is a loving place, where kids are built up and encouraged to do their absolute best. Our kids love Westlake.
Mike and Tina H., Westlake Prep Parents
I cannot fully express how thankful we are for the Westlake community. My daughter's experience as a student at Westlake has far exceeded my expectations. Being a part of Westlake includes belonging to a community of families, faculty and staff united to encourage and equip our children to embrace God's call upon their lives as part of our society and the larger body of Christ.
Lynne B., Westlake Prep Parent
Westlake offers opportunities beyond those confined to a classroom setting. During the first six weeks of school, our daughter's class was singing and playing the resonator bells for the all-school chapel held weekly on campus. It is opportunities like these that make children feel valued by building their confidence in a team-oriented experience.
