GLENN D. GERBER

WESTLAKE PREPARATORY LUTHERAN ACADEMY

Glenn D. Gerber is Head of School at Westlake Lutheran Academy, which is a school of the Lutheran Education Association of Houston.

In this position he serves as the chief administrator, advancing the mission of the school, giving leadership, vision, and oversight to all aspects of the organization.

Gerber has been in education for more than 20 years.  He was the chief administrator of schools in Florida, Missouri and from 1988 - 1992 he served as principal of Hong Kong International School, which is a leading institution in international education.  Prior to joining Westlake Prep he served as an investment counselor with a national insurance company, and as Vice President of The Lutheran Hour Ministries Foundation, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.

He holds a masters degree in administration and supervision from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a bachelor's degree in education from Concordia University, Chicago.  He currently lives in the Cinco Ranch area of Katy, Texas.
